Level 3 Arabic — Al-Arabiyyah Bayna Yadayk, Book 2, Part 1
العربية بين يديك — الكتاب الثاني، الجزء الأول
Level 3 is the step from beginner to intermediate. Reading passages get longer, vocabulary gets denser, and class discussion is held in Arabic rather than about Arabic. You'll work through a wider range of verb forms and sentence structures, and start reading with less reliance on vowel markings. This is the shift that eventually makes unvowelled books and articles accessible. Expect to be speaking more in every session and leaning on English less.
Who it's for: Students who have completed Book 1, or who can read simple texts and hold a conversation on everyday topics.

By the end of the course, students will be able to:
Read extended passages with reduced dependence on vowel markings
Recognize and use a wider range of verb forms and sentence structures
Follow and take part in discussion conducted in Arabic
Write connected paragraphs on familiar topics with accurate grammar
Understand intermediate texts and dialogues without translating word by word
Handle denser, less predictable vocabulary in context
The course emphasizes sustained use of the language in class, consistent reading outside it, and steady progress toward independent comprehension.
