Shaykh Yahya serves as the Imam of the BC Muslim Association's Richmond Branch. He is the first Canadian to graduate from the Faculty of Qur'an at the Islamic University of Madinah. With deep training in classical Islamic sciences, Qur'anic studies, and Arabic, he brings rigorous traditional scholarship into accessible, community-centred teaching.
His teaching style bridges the classical tradition with the needs of today's Muslim learner. He grounds every lesson in the Qur'an and authentic Sunnah, while making the material engaging, clear, and transformative.
